I have been receiving many calls from the above number, 5 to 10 per day for a month or more. I finally got someone to speak to me today The company is Global Contact services and they get your name,number and address from GMAC Mortgage. I complained to GMAC and the told me to call 877-450-4622 and use their opt out service to stop them from supplying your info to third party companies for other services.Hope this helps.

Wow - the tenth call of the day came in. I actually talked to a supervisor after verifying the calls were being made on behalf of GMAC Mortgage. They not only had my telephone number but mailing address also. I asked questions about do not call and was told I would be off the list in two days. Wait until I talk to GMAC Mortgage.

206-278-8779 "Washington Call" has called my home repeatedly morning, day and night for at least a month. Typically, when answered, we get hung up on. A few times, they have come onto the line asking for me by name...but they are speaking to the answering machine. FINALLY this morning, I answered and the woman on the phone said she was from "$15 gas rebate from GMAC Mortgage". I asked to be removed from their list and complained about the volume of calls we have received from them. Solicitors are pathetic people even if they are trying to make an honest buck. The woman did indicate that she was calling from a computer, which automatically dials numbers (not that I didn't already suspect this in the first place). She SAID she'd take me off the list but it could take up to 90 DAYS...GREAT...

I got a call at 4am this morning that woke up my newborn.. This is the second call in a week that I have received. Caller ID says it is from "Health Plan". When I answer, the phone call disconnects. When I try to call the number back, I am not able to connect. ???

I have received numerous calls on the day to day basis from telemarketers. I've ignored the calls over and over, but I am fed up that all the calls coming through are telemarketers. I've recently added the Privacy Director and my calls immediately drop to 1 or 2 a week. However, my number has been on the do-not call list since it got started. I've recently started getting calls from 206-415-9365 & 208-327-1751. It is unbelievable that we as consumers are trying to protect our privacy and these scum backs -telemarketing companies find a loop hole. We should all try to push for laws that will protect us as consumers not those bastards.

(231 224 2018) is an illegal telemarketer call from Guardian Communications (309 277 1222). They also call from (206 415 9327) Guardian, (231 224 2017) GCI,(231 224 2020)GCI, (269 537 2027) GCI,and at least a dozen other numbers. They now use Quest as their phone company.They have been sued by NC FL AND MO so far. Report all calls to your Attorney General and the FTC.

Just a quick post for any new people. Any (206) call is probably a telemarketer. They use predictive dialers that call blocks of numbers. They didn't "get your number" from anybody.Using a predictive dialer to call a cell phone is illegal.As is calling people on the DNC and using a recorded message to call your home.Calls after 9:00pm are not allowed.Report all violations to the FTC (877 382 4357).The phone company for all (206)#'s is Marathon Communications (800 919 1000). A Seattle company that provides (206)#'s to telemarketers. Call to complain and ask who the number belongs to. Don't just leave a message, ask for someone in charge. Post results here. For more info. visit www.anti206.blogspot.com Call the Washington Attorney General (206 464 6948) and file a complaint.Also,post the caller ID you get with each (206)call. The telephone companies should have a system for customers to block these calls. I've had calls in the middle of the night. The only other thing you can do if you get a person is to ask them to take you off there calling list.

I got the infamous 206-415-8547 "Health Plans" call this morning. It took me a sec to answer after lifting the receiver, and when I said, "Hello?" there was silence, then a busy signal. Apparently, an autodialer didn't get the response it was programmed for. Anyway, I called the NC Attorney Gen's office. They are sending a complaint form. Don't know why they don't just make it available on the web. I also filed a complaint with the DNC website. I hope these jerks get a hefty fine when the hammer comes down.

Hi, I have been receiving calls from bancofamins (206.278.8978) at least 3 times a day for the past month. I finally called that number today and received a voicemail message that said it's Bank of America Insurance Services (or something like that). I immediately called BofA and spoke to a very nice customer service rep and she filled out a form, which would "opt me out" from receiving these calls. However, it takes anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks. Thought I would share this info with you.

206-415-9148 is a marketing company called Perfect Marketing out of Seattle, Washington. The company may be reached by calling (602) 453-3333 and is registered to Bill Fautsch.
One of my favorite scumbags is a guy named Richard Salvador aka Richard Dunbar of Great Northwest Advertising (www.penslinger.net). Richard spoofs his caller id using spoofcard.com. Richard served 5 years (was sentenced to 9) for his part in one of the nations largest telemarketing scams in U.S. history. He was targeting and ripping off senior citizens. The FBI sting operation was called "operation disconnect". Richard routinely threatens to kill people. Customers, competitors, empolyees etc. He likes to record himself doing so. Richard recently put his 14 year old daughter in the hospital. His ex wife and daughter are now in hiding. He uses methamphetamines and steroids. Don't believe me? Check this out:
